Stage 5 – Demonstrators

In the short-term, the WRON alliance is gathering teams keen to help demonstrate the potential of a Water Resources Observation Network for Australia.

WRON will be applied to regional projects around the country. These projects will show us what WRON can do, using distributed (legacy) databases of spatially explicit land resource information (e.g. terrain, soils and land cover) as well as time series of hydrometric data (e.g. climate, water levels and physico-chemical parameters). We’re looking to build a bigger picture of water resources in the various different areas of the country, with a focus on local issues.
